Provision of medical, social and psychological support for HIV-positive adults. Technical equipping of medical facilities providing ART outside Lviv Regional AIDS Centers. |

HIV-positive adults; top managers and infectious diseases physicians of Stryj central city hospital, Drohobych city polyclinic, Zhovkva and Zolochiv central district hospitals.

Medical, social and psychological support for HIV-positive adults:
consultations of social worker;
consultations of gynecologist;
consultations of psychologist;
consultations of infectious diseases physicians;
consultations of TB specialist;
provision of medical and non-medical care for HIV-positive adults at home, in hospitals or hospice facilities;
consultative visits of a multidisciplinary team (namely an infectious diseases physician, a social worker and a gynecologist) to the premises where it is planned to open ART sites (Stryj central city hospital, Drohobych city polyclinic, Zhovkva and Zolochiv central district hospitals).
Procurement and distribution of 70 prenatal kits for HIV-infected pregnant women.
Technical equipment of health facilities providing ART outside Lviv Regional AIDS Center. Improving technical equipment of physicians’ offices, where ART drugs will be stored and given to HIV- infected patients: renovation of offices (installation of doors, windows, laminate flooring, painting walls, etc.) and purchasing equipment to ensure compliance with sanitary control (bactericidal lamps and couches ). |
